ENTRY PROCEDURE

• Only 100 players per tournament (numbers may be increased at organizers discretion)

ENTRIES CLOSE
• Entries close the Wednesday before each event
• The draw will take place on the Thursday morning before the tournament and players will be informed accordingly as to what time they are scheduled to play their Round Robin matches the next day.

ENTRY FEE
• AED200 per player per tournament ($55)
• When entering online you will need to pay for you and your partner at the same time
• Entry fee includes post tournament BBQ & drinks voucher and other sponsor promotional give aways

• Ladies doubles or
• Mixed doubles
• All players need to be 19 years or older on the day of the tournament

TOURNAMENT DAY SCHEDULE
08h00 to 11h00 = round robin of 16 teams
11h00 to 14h00 = round robin of 16 teams
14h00 to 17h00 = round robin of 16 teams
17h00 to 20h00 = knock out – 24 players who advanced from the earlier round robin stages
20h00 = Prize Giving
20h15 = BBQ and drinks

FORMAT OF PLAY
• Players need to enter as a team for their respective event – Men’s, Ladies or Mixed Doubles.
• Teams will then be drawn from a hat and be placed in groups of 4 teams per court for the round robin part of the tournament.
• Teams who have entered the Men’s Doubles event, will only be grouped with other Men’s Doubles teams on a court etc.
• Each match in the round robin stage will be 8 games long with a sudden death deuce where the receivers choose the side to be served too.
• After 4 games, teams will swop partners and play with their opponent against their original partner for another 4 games. The person who will be doing the swopping will be nominated when entering the tournament and needs to swop every time it is required to do so.
• Once the match is finished, players need to add up their individual games won and hand these in to the organizer.
• The top two players from each court / group will advance to the knock out stage.
• In the event of players having equal games and are tied for a position to advance to the knockout stage, then a Lucky Draw will be made to see who advances.
• Players advancing through to the knockout stages, will have their names thrown in a hat and draw for partners and opponents for every match up to and including the finals.
• Each match in the knock out stage will be the first team to 4 games with a sudden death tiebreaker (first to 5 points and no leading by 2 points) being played at 3 games each
• The finals of each tournament will be 1 tie break set.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
• These tournaments are only open to players aged 19 years and over on the day of the tournament.
• These tournaments are only open to players with a valid UAE Residency Visa
• No current coaching Pro’s are allowed to enter  
• Players need to be available all day and especially from 5pm onwards in the event of them progressing to the knock out stage of the tournament
• This is a TE approved event where ITF Rules will be followed for all matches and all players need to be members of TE. TE Membership registrations will take place on the day of the event at no extra cost to players who are not yet registered.
• Only online entries will be accepted unless special arrangements are made with the organizers to enter otherwise.

SERIES RANKING
• Every player entering the tournament will receive points which accumulate over the 3 tournaments to eventually give you a Series Ranking.
• To qualify for a Series Ranking players need to compete in a minimum of 2 tournaments with the top 3 results counting toward the Series Ranking.
• Points will be awarded as follows according to the round in which you exit the tournament

GRAND SLAM LUCKY  DRAW
• All players who compete in 2 or more of the Series tournaments and qualify for a Series Ranking, will automatically be entered into the Lucky Draw.
• Prize winners need to be present at the final Prize Giving Ceremony, which is to be confirmed asap, to collect their prize or else a re-draw will take place till a winner is confirmed. 
• The Lucky Draw Winner will receive an all expenses paid trip to WIMBLEDON 2012.

EXTRA LUCKY DRAW entries will also be on offer per tournament as follows:
• every player who enters will receive 1 entry to the Lucky Draw which becomes eligible if they qualify for a Series Ranking
• players competing in all 3 tournaments will receive an extra 10 entries to the lucky draw
• players making it through to the knock out stage will receive an extra 2 entries to the Lucky Draw
• players winning a tournament will receive an extra 10 entries to the Lucky Draw
• players losing in the finals will receive an extra 7 entries to the Lucky Draw
• players losing in the semi finals will receive and extra 4 entries to the Lucky Draw
• the top 10 players of the Series Rankings upon the conclusion of the series of tournaments will also receive extra entries with the player ranked #1 receving 20 extra entries, #2 18 extra entries etc. down to the #10 player receving 2 extra entries.
